Customer Background

The customer, located in a European country, has requested a custom carrying case to securely hold their weapon for their country army. They are seeking a reliable manufacturer to produce this specialized case.

Problem

The customer requires a case with an interior compartment that securely holds both a pistol and a bullet box. Additionally, they want the underlid to store the soldier's ID and a zipper pocket for gun accessories. The customer has asked us to propose a suitable design.

Our Solution

Given that this case is intended for heavy-duty use, we recommend using 1680D high-density fabric for the outer material. To ensure easy access to the pistol and bullet box, we have requested the customer to provide the 2D dimensions of both for accurate fitting. Based on these details, our designer prepared a drawing for the customer's approval.

Furthermore, the customer prefers that the zipper pocket on the underlid is not transparent. As a solution, we suggest using sandwich mesh material for this pocket. Once the drawing was presented, the customer was pleased with it and promptly paid for the tooling. After two weeks of tooling and sample preparation, we sent the sample image for their approval. The customer was satisfied with the result and asked us to send the case immediately. However, due to the customer's government-related timeline, the process took longer than expected. It took nearly six months before the customer received the order approval.
